Celebrate Halloween in Miami

September 30, 201844Views

The year is quickly approaching its end, but not before we’re able to enjoy the most fun, explorative holiday there is: Halloween! It’s the only time of the year where you can transform into whoever and whatever you want to be without real consequence. It’s the only time of the year you can put reality aside and become the Beyonce or Kim Kardashian of your friend group without regard.

What we’re trying to say is that this spooky time of year is always a good time. Here are some ways to exploit that and have your best Halloween ever in Miami:

Party on a Miami Nice yacht!

This is Miami, so obviously an activity involving water would be featured. Miami Nice does yacht parties all throughout the year, and Halloween is no exception. You’ll board the Luxurious South Beach Lady Yacht for a night of fun, dancing and proudly showing off your costume. Grab some friends and book the VIP bottle service package. It’ll cost $1,000 but includes private seating, premium bottles and access to all four levels of the yacht.

Do a scary bar crawl!

If you’d rather stay on land, get a ticket for the 2nd Annual Fright Night Bar Crawl in Wynwood. Tickets range from $15-$30 and come with 5 free drinks plus Halloween goodies like candy and merch! You’ll join other partygoers and crawl through participating bars in Wynwood all night long. There will also be a costume contest with a top prize of $250 for the best dressed.

Run a half marathon!

If partying isn’t really your thing, you can also celebrate Halloween in a healthy way. Take the Miami Beach Halloween Half Marathon & Freaky 4-Miler for example. You can run along the best sights in the city like Biscayne Bay, downtown Miami, and of course, Miami Beach. Both runners and walkers are welcomed to participate in the early Saturday morning event. For solo runners, registration is $85 for the half marathon and $35 for the 4-mile run. It’s slightly cheaper for teams.

Go to a pumpkin patch festival!

So this one isn’t quite centered around Halloween, but it’s dedicated to the changing season and bringing in a good Fall. The pumpkin patch festival is great for families and has something for just about everyone to enjoy. There will be fun rides and games, a scarecrow village, pumpkin decorating, a cornstalk maze, a food court and more! General admission is $20 each day, and kids under 2 years old get in free.

Lounge at a Miami Beach hotel!

Sometimes holidays can be a hassle, and sometimes you’d want nothing more than to do nothing and just lounge. That’s perfectly fine. Book a weekend stay at our accommodating Miami Beach hotel, and make your leisure dreams a reality. Our suites are plush, private, relaxing, and most of all, quiet. And if you feel the urge to get out and celebrate the holiday, even if just for a moment, the best of Miami Beach is just steps away.

These opportunities are Wins all around, Miami. Take advantage of what the city has to offer and enjoy yourself.

Happy Halloween!
