Miami is great for its beaches, it’s great for the art, and it’s great for the many ways you can celebrate and appreciate different cultures. But what it’s also great for is the shopping! There’s so much shopping, guys! It doesn’t matter where in the city you are or what it is you’re looking for, it’s available somewhere in Miami.
Because we care, we’ve even narrowed down a list for you. Behold: the best shopping in the city. Just in time for summer.
When you want to be outside: Lincoln Road Mall – between 16th and 17th Street on Lincoln Road
Shopping at Lincoln Road Mall gives you an opportunity to explore the beach area as well as get some new items. The shops are all lined up outside along with great restaurants and coffee shops. Some of the stores at Lincoln Road Mall are Aldo, Express, Pandora, H&M and Victoria’s Secret. If you want to celebrate your new purchases, there’s also lots of nearby restaurants with happy hours throughout the week. Meat Market offers beer, signature cocktails and wine for under $10 every day from 5-8pm. Rosa Mexicano offers $8 margaritas and half price menu dishes from 4-7pm and then again from 9pm-close every day
When you want a traditional mall: Dadeland Mall – 7535 North Kendall Drive
If you live farther South and don’t really want to travel to the beach to shop, you have options too! Dadeland Mall is a traditional shopping mall and has all the stores you’ve come to love. They have Adidas, Coach, Express, Macys and even upscale Louis Vuitton. There are also great places to grab a bite to eat when you can no longer shop on an empty stomach. There are restaurants on site like The Cheesecake Factory, Basil Thai, Bobby’s Burger Palace and Chic-Fil-A for when you’re craving some waffle fries.
When you need variety and lots of it: Dolphin Mall – 11401 NW 12th Street
Dolphin Mall is great if your main requirement is variety. Whether you only have an idea of what you want or want to be inspired once you get there, Dolphin Mall will have something for you. There are hundreds of stores on site including Coach, Michael Kors, Nike, Calvin Klein, Marshalls, DSW, H&M and so much more. Your only problem with this one might be figuring out how you’re going to transport all your shopping bags.
When you want to find unique buys: City Place Doral – 8300 NW 36th Street
City Place Doral offers great boutique shopping. You won’t have to worry about bumping into someone who’s dressed just like you or having to change because that woman is wearing your dress. You’ll find one-of-a-kind pieces at boutiques on site like Seta Apparel, Ella Boutique and Tarbay, which sells limited edition items inspired by women around the world. City Place is also an experience with restaurants, a movie theater and even a comedy club on site. If you want to really enjoy yourself, book a room at our nearby Doral hotel, and make it a weekend event.
Shopping + socializing + relaxing all in one!
Happy Shopping, Miami!
