It’s Miami, you’re a laborer, you love what you do, so you celebrate Labor Day. It only makes sense! We get it. But how you celebrate the special holiday is what makes all the difference.
Luckily for you, we’ve compiled a list of Labor Day events in the city. Choose one, choose them all – the choice is yours!
This party is super exclusive and will be held in a mansion on Star Island. Tickets can get up to $1000 for VIP-style partying, so make sure to reserve your tickets in advance. If you’re into Hip Hop, Reggae and Soca music, Soak Fest is for you!
The Miami All White Yacht Party is an annual event that happens every Labor Day weekend. The South Beach Lady houses 4 separate levels for guests to enjoy themselves. There’s VIP areas, flat screen TVs, new cabana style furniture and more. Tickets are $75 for general admission and $1000 for VIP.
Coast to Coast brings your favorite artists and DJs together for one huge, yearly convention. Previous performers included DJ Khaled, N.O.R.E., Jahlil Beats and Miami’s very own DJ Nasty of 99Jamz. Tickets range from $125 to $350.
If you’re a country music fan and not into boat parties on Labor Day, the Tequila Bay Country Music Festival may be just for you! The festival will take over Miami Marine Stadium Park and will feature country’s hottest names like Brantley Gilbert and Tyler Farr. Along with awesome performances, there will also be “mouthwatering BBQ and Southern eats.” Tequila Bay will also feature a special taste-testing booth. Tickets range from $55 to $150.
So maybe you’ve done all the partying you can handle. Maybe you’d rather leave the wild (albeit exciting) pool parties and concerts to a different crowd. Maybe for this Labor Day, you want to celebrate your employment by doing nothing at all. If that sounds like you, we invite you to kick back at our rejuvenating Miami hotel. Leave the work (and the thought of work!) alone and simply relax. We have a poolside lounge bar with complimentary breakfast. We have an outdoor pool with cabanas and a fire pit. And we have spacious and accommodating rooms with sweet views of the city – just in case you want to look out, reflect, and be thankful for where you are.
Happy Labor Day, Miami!
