Rihanna. RiRi. Whatever you want to call her, the bad gal herself is headed to Miami’s American Airlines Arena for a stop on her “Anti” world tour.
As the Rihanna tour stops in Miami, it comes after her long-anticipated album featuring her new single “Work” that has been leading Billboard’s Top 100 charts for the past two weeks with no sign of dropping off. Although Rihanna has been known to be a bit edgy and unpredictable for a while now, this new album marks the first time she has veered from her expected pop perfection trading it for a new sound.
While some critics were “underwhelmed” others absolutely loved the album. It’s a hat toss to know who is right when it comes to the her newest music. But one thing is not up for debate: Her fans can’t wait to see her on stage again performing new and old hits.
In her 10 year career, Rihanna has become an icon and trendsetter in music, fashion and entertainment. She has released eight studio albums, and 13 Number 1 singles that won her eight Grammy awards.
With several tour dates postponed, Rihanna is kicking off “Anti” in Florida. She will stop in Miami on March 15 with Travis Scott opening for her. For tickets, visit LiveNation.com.
