This Valentine’s Day is your chance to show that your love is anything but ordinary.
Whether you want a more traditional night of romance as you cruise along Biscayne Bay or you want to celebrate a little differently and watch local and international artists celebrate multiculturalism through street art, Miami is the right place to do it.
Be as busy or as carefree as you would like when you do Valentine’s Day Miami style. Book your stay at the Hotel Urbano in Brickell and take your pick of events all over the city all weekend long. Then enjoy your downtime at any of the beautiful South Florida beaches.
Here’s a taste of what you and your love can do:
Kick off the weekend on Friday, Feb. 12th with a free outdoor ”Latin Jazz All-Stars” concert led by four-time Latin Grammy-nominee and world-renowned pianist José Negroni.
The concert is at the beautiful Tropical Park (7900 SW 40 Street, Miami, FL). Attendees are encouraged to bring along comfy dancing shoes, a blanket, lawn chairs and picnic snacks.
Then bring in Valentine’s Day the right way with a midnight cruise on Biscayne Bay, one of the events included in the annual Miami Romance Month celebration.
After getting a little rest stop in on and watch London street artist Tom Inkie Brindle and Miami-based artist ABSTRK in a live show as a part of the annual BritWeek Miami. Each artist will take over the walls and showcase their work in the name of multiculturalism in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District.
Here’s the best part, no need to give us any credit for planning the perfect intriguing weekend that is anything but expected. It’s cool with us if your love thinks you planned it all!
