November 21-22, 2015
Don’t be late for this very important date.
There’s nothing better than re-reading a favorite childhood classic, except maybe having your favorite childhood classic come to life! The 11th Annual Mad Hatter Arts Festival does just that, reviving the story of Alice in Wonderland for generations young and old. The weekend will be filled with an abundance of family activities that are sure to bring a Cheshire Cat Smile to your face.
The festival will be returning to Coconut Grove on the grounds of The Barnacle Historic State Park and along the sidewalks of Main Highway. This event will feature artists of all types, as well as an Artisan and Vintage Marketplace to celebrate the creative community of Miami.
As in previous years, music will be the highlight of this year’s Miami festival, which will feature a participatory drum circle. The event also includes hat contests, crafts, and other activities for kids of all ages. Food is available for purchase through the Barnacle Society’s concession stand and select food vendors. You can also visit the Village for drinks and other treats to satisfy your hungering curiosity.
Gates will open at 6pm on Saturday for the annual showing of Alice in Wonderland. Movie tickets are $5 per person for ages 6 and over and $3 for ages 2-5. Children under 2 get in FREE!
When the night ends, fall down the rabbit hole and into one of our comfortable beds at any of our premier hotels in the Miami area. And remember – we’re all mad here.
