Halloween in Miami 2015

It’s October, which means it’s almost time for what is arguably the BEST holiday of the year… HALLOWEEN! Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly outing, a spooky haunted house, or a raging party, Miami has something for everyone! Here are just a few of the fun and frightening ways to celebrate this year’s Halloween in Miami.

Spooktober at Zoo Miami – Get spooked at the zoo with a host of Halloween festivities all month long. From the Monster Masquerade and Dr. Wilde’s Creepy Haunted House, to Zoo Boo and Spooky Zoo Nights, there is enough scary fun for the whole family! Through October 31st

House of Horror Amusement Park at International Mall – Not for the faint of heart, this two-acre haunted house features terrifying scenes, creepy characters lurking in the shadows, and it promises to make you shriek. The park also boasts carnival rides, concession stands, circus sideshow acts, and live musical performances for a HORROR-ble night of fun. Through November 2nd

Halloween Sundowner at Vizcaya – Enjoy live music and an open bar, all while dancing and mingling on the waterfront terrace with a spectacular view of Biscayne Bay. Enjoy Vizcaya’s Mediterranean-revival splendor while in costume with some of Miami’s finest party-goers. Funds raised from the event are for the historic estate’s restoration and preservation efforts. October 25th

Nightmare on the Beach – Lummus Park on Miami Beach will be transformed from light to dark. Enjoy bites from some of Miami’s best restaurants, and sip drinks from the open bar as you party well into the next month (haha). This party is a memorable one with costumes, performers, and big surprises. Must be 21 and older to attend. October 31st

Halloween Night on Lincoln Road Mall – Join the biggest costume party in South Beach and parade up and down the pedestrian promenade of Lincoln Road Mall in your wildest getup. Expect special events at the bars, restaurants, and shops lining the road, as well as musical performances and a costume contest at the main stage. The best part: it’s free! October 31st

Halloween at Bayside Marketplace – Spend Halloween at downtown Miami’s Bayside Marketplace with free and fun activities from 5 to 7 p.m. Trick-or-treat right through the middle and enjoy live music and entertainment from Bayside’s street performers. You can also win great prizes! A discounted parking rate is offered to families with children in costume. October 31st

Halloween Spook-tacular at CocoWalk – Head to Coconut Grove’s CocoWalk for an entire day of free festivities. From 2 to 7 p.m., kids can enjoy a Kid’s Howl-O-Ween gathering candy, participating in costume contests and other feature entertainment, including a magician, tattoo and balloon artists, and dancing to spooky dance music. October 31st

Halloween on the Mile – Coral Gables’ Annual Halloween on the Mile returns on Sat. Oct. 31 from 4 to 7 p.m. Participate in trick-or-treating along Miracle Mile and its adjacent streets, enjoy story time, and enter the Kiddie Costume Contest at the Miracle Theatre. There’s also a doggie costume contest! October 31st
