We know, we know, Miami can be kind of pricey sometimes. But it doesn’t have to be. Afterall, the beach is always free in Miami.

Enjoy The Great Outdoors

Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park is home to a historic lighthouse built in 1825, the oldest standing structure in Miami-Dade County, and ranked as the #7 beach on the list of “Top 10 Beaches in America” by Dr. Stephen Leatherman, aka ‘Mr. Beach.’ Sunbathe, swim, bike, kayak or picnic on the more than one mile of sandy Atlantic beachfront.

(Free) Music To Your Ears

At 8 P.M. on the last Friday of every month, the Museum of Contemporary Art in North Miami puts on a free outdoor jazz showcase on the outside plaza. Grab some friends, or a date, and gather ‘round with fellow music lovers.

Catch a Free Flick

Although it doesn’t return until October 7, this is a unique expereience where you can catch a free movie on a 7,000 square foot projection wall in Miami Beach SoundScape at New World Center. This is the perfect event for family and friends; you can view the full schedule of movies here.

Learn For Free

The PAMM, or Perez Art Museum Miami, is free on the first Thursday and second Saturday of the month. The Miami Children’s Museum is free every third Friday of the Month and the FIU Wolfsonian on Miami Beach is free every Friday night.
