Miami Children’s Museum
It can get pretty hot during the summer in Miami, and on days like that, Miami Children’s Museum is the perfect getaway. Let your kids be an adult for a day as they learn everyday skills such as food shopping, taking care of pets, or banking through innovative exhibits. There is also a sand castle with a water slide, rock-climbing wall, and replica cruise ship equipped with limbo dancing! Doesn’t get much more real than that, does it?
If you come to Miami, you’ll hear the name Lolita and quickly realize it’s a household name in these parts. Lolita is the trained killer whale who has been living and performing for more than four decades at the Miami Seaquarium. The seaquarium also features sharks, manatees, alligators, turtles, and the TV-superstar Flipper. Special exhibits include Crocodiles, Salty’s Pirate Playground and the stingray touch pool! Not sold yet? Your kids will be when you tell them they can walk underwater among the fish during a Sea Trek Reef Encounter!
You see, Miami can be fun for all ages. Hit the beach, explore the land the sea creatures roam, and experience all that Florida has to offer!
