Summer is winding down, and football season is almost upon us. In fact, the Miami Dolphins just began their 2015 Training Camp on July 30th at the Doctors Hospital Training Facility in Davie, Florida. With the Dolphins’ upcoming season drawing near, here a few of the best Miami sports bars to watch your favorite team.
Bokampers Sports Bar & Grill – Bokampers is the official sports bar of the Miami Dolphins, making it a solid choice. With a mouthwatering menu that includes their award-winning smokehouse ribs and the acclaimed “Best Burger Ever,” you can’t go wrong. Celebrate the Dolphins’ game-winning victory (or loss) with a delectable slice of blueberry pie.
Scully’s Tavern – Scully’s Tavern combines high-class cuisine with a sports bar atmosphere. The food itself is the main attraction, which earned Scully’s a spot on The Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” in 2008. Their famous wings, delicious half-pound burgers, and Florida-favorite specialties make this sports bar a must-stop spot.
Tom’s NFL – Tom’s NFL is a laid-back sports bar with good beer and a great view of the game. This hole-in-the-wall dive is located near the Miami International Airport, and is known for its football fervor. The walls are lined with NFL memorabilia, and the menu includes wings, burgers, tacos, and over 75 bottled beers. Top things off with a slice of their renowned key lime pie.
Shula’s Steak House – Shula’s Steak House is an “undefeated” cornerstone of Miami Beach. Named after Don Shula, the winningest coach in NFL history, this restaurant is proudly themed after the Miami Dolphin’s 1972 undefeated season. Enjoy tender, juicy Black Angus steak with sautéed mushrooms and potato gratin, or go for the French cut chicken breast with truffle fries and grilled asparagus. Whatever you choose, it’s sure to be a winner.
